Balayapalli is the mandal head quarter to jayampu. We can reach Jayampu by bus route from venkatagiri and Gudur towns.We can reach jayampu from the train routes also.
Jayampu Railway station(Vendodu)is located on the way from Gudur to venkatagiri stations.We can reach with in 20 minutes from these stations.
Mokali veeramaa,people used to call her as Mohileramma is the Grama devata to Jayampu.Jayampu is divided into two parts as pathooru and kotthooru.mohileramma temple is located at pathooru part.Railway station is located at kothooru Part.
